This little doll has been coming to see me since she was new to the world! I even got to see her just after she was born in the hospital!!
She is such a sweet pea and so darn adorable. Mom and Dad just love her to pieces too... can you tell??
I am sad that her first year seems to have gone by waaayyyy too quickly, but I can't wait to see her again and see how much she has grown!!

It was a while ago that Tommy called me about something fun he had in the works... I was SO excited when he told me his plan to propose to his girlfriend Andrea!!
We spoke only a few times on the phone and I was always worried I would ruin the surprise if they were together when I called... The evening of the proposal, Tommy called from the bathroom of the restaurant telling me they would be outside in about 5 minutes.
I had to laugh as he sounded a little nervous. OH and I should mention that my awesome cousin let me take her "senior" photos right outside where the proposal would happen - Thanks Natalie!!
It was so exciting it even made ME nervous!! Trying to act like I was taking photos of someone else when really I was taking photos of them... there is more to it than it seems!!! Did I mention that Andrea's best friend and roomie was there witnessing the whole event too?? She was so adorable trying to stay hidden while all of this fun was going on, but trying to see everything at the same time. I loved it!!!
Well the plan worked and Tommy got down on one knee and proposed and she said YES!!

So this fun group of kiddos came to see me the other day. Everyone was in good moods and ready for some photos! We got GREAT smiles and everyone did awesome. Big brother is SO good with his sister and brothers. And sister can really make her younger brothers laugh. ;}

So this was a fun little spur of the moment kind of shoot! It was fun to meet my neighbor's graduating class of 1964. We had some fun with this 10 minute {lets-quick-get-a-picture} session... Here's to photographing you all for your next reunion!!! :}
PS I think they are one fun bunch... I can imagine they had some good times then too!!

Oh how I love these people!!
Mom is the sweet and gorgeous best friend of my cousin AND my hair stylist. She works at Allure Salon in Fargo... she's fabulous and you should check her out. Dad and boys are just all so darn handsome. Mr. Jack is so darn silly and I get a kick out of his great personality. Not to mention my girls just adore him. I have to say that Mr. Alec was less than thrilled with me when we first started, but we changed his mind and got REALLY awesome photos of EVERYONE!!
It is the best when I get to photograph lovely people like this family ;}

This little man was back to visit me again... He is SUCH a happy baby!!! Really. He was so smiley even after we stopped taking his photos.. He is probably the most laid back happy baby I have photographed!! I just heart his whole family.

This little guy is SO ADORABLE!!! That hair is "awesomely" red and those HUGE BLUE EYES!!! He is a busy body that is all boy too. Moving things all around and rearranging my chairs as most kiddos do in my studio... Mom and sister and I had so much fun during our session and I couldn't help but snap a few of sister too.

What can I say, but that this little man is just adorable! Mom and dad are pretty lucky to have this little guy... he is such a sweetheart and so happy and SO CUUTE!! Mom brought him to see me and can I just say, I love seeing mommies with their little boys! Its incredibly sweet.
Mom brought some pretty awesome outfits too... his little flat cap, bow-tie and suspenders were pretty darn great and the onesie with the tie.... it was too much!!
Maybe it is because I have two girls, but gosh I just love the little outfits and accessories you can find for boys these days.

It was a gorgeous day and a perfect time to take a break from it all...
I couldn't resist taking out the camera to this pretty little place. And getting a few fun shots of my girls and at the beach :}
The sweet and talented Abby from Studio A Photography and her little beauties joined us in the relaxing summer fun too. I think my girls found some new friends... they didn't want to leave!!
I WILL be taking the girls back even if it means pulling them out of daycare. I love it. It's a man made lake. It is shallow. There is a great beach. There are bathrooms. AND it is the perfect little place to play and picnic for the day.
